Corn! Greens! Beans! Squash! Watermelon!

(already, CL has begun harvesting salad greens, coriander, parsley, basil, chard and summer squash...she has counted over 30 corn silks, 50 squash, 12 heads of lettuce and 100 beans! and the sunflowers have busted through the 7 foot nets...me? no vermin has entered the garden, thanks to my mad huntress skills...7 dead moles, 2 dead gophers, and at least 20 dead field mice encompass my current body count)

OMD, I'm so jealous of your garden. Meanwhile, I've killed two rounds of potted herbs. and I really tried to do them right. ugh! i love gardens but have no talent nor patience for gardening. except weeding. I LOVE weeding. seriously. it's like cleaning and i love to clean too. except husky fur. i hate cleaning that day and day out... but give me a drawer to clean or a garden to weed and i'm all over it. i used to do all the weeding for Mr. Wild Dingo's old house that we lived in before we moved to the summit house. then we didn't have a garden. sigh... if i were there, i would weed your garden. that sounds just wrong. like a pick up line a guy would use! LOL. hope you had a good laugh.

Oh, there is NOTHING like fresh-grown veggies! I'm so jealous. We have no land here to put in even the tiniest garden. Which is probably good, because I'm sure I'd kill anything that I tried to grow... No green thumb here!
